Minutes before the Nostromo crew awakes from hypersleep, each member has a dream.

I’ve created a 52 minutes audio piece for The Morning Line 58-channel sound pavillon at ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Germany.

Before Nostromo is a homage to the sound design for Ridley Scott‘s science fiction classic Alien (1979) and consists of 8 pieces for piano, gongs, shortwave receiver, tape loops and entropic processes.

You can listen here to a stereo mixdown for Stasis 6, Jonesy, the ship cat’s dream.
